Robo-Butcher throws you into a sci-fi rescue mission with a satisfying twist: the hero saving humanity is a robot himself. A human outpost has been overrun by an army of robots gone rogue, and the resistance answers with one final weapon, a machine built for the single purpose of protecting humans from other machines. That machine is you.
The game plays as an action platformer. Move with the arrow keys or WASD, jump across platforms, and attack the waves of enemy robots that stand between you and the end of each stage. A double-jump lets you reach high ledges and dodge over trouble, which becomes essential once the screen starts filling with enemies.
Progression comes in two flavors. Power-ups dropped during a run give you temporary boosts in the heat of battle, while permanent upgrades stick with you between attempts, so even a failed run leaves you a little stronger than before.
