What the adventure shelf is for

Adventure means a game with somewhere to get to. This shelf holds side-scrolling platformers, escape and point-and-click puzzles, runner-quests and small exploration games where the level itself is the puzzle. We keep the ones that show you the objective early and let you retry without starting over; anything that hides the exit behind an ad wall or a twenty-minute cutscene does not go in. Runs last five to twenty minutes, which makes this the shelf for a story-shaped break rather than a score chase.

Every game on this shelf opens in the browser with no download. Each title has its own note on why it is here — how we choose games.
